Broadland

Broadland is an area which includes the northern suburbs of Norwich and the rural areas to the north and east of the city. It has a population of 120,000.

The Broadland Business Park, situated adjacent to the A47 Southern bypass, provides a range of high quality office production and warehouse space and is home to businesses including Aviva, BT, DHL and Whitbread.

The famous Norfolk Broads feature within Broadland and are made up of waterways stretching for 200kms. The Broads are a major tourist and leisure destination and home to some of the UK’s finest luxury boat building businesses.

Globally, wetlands are among the most threatened of landscapes and the Norfolk Broads are home to a wide variety of plant life, birds and animals and an important destination for naturalists

Grants

Broadland Council Training Services (BCTS) scheme is offering small to medium sized businesses in the Broadland area grants of £2,000 to help support an apprentice in business administration; customer service; retail; equestrian; warehousing and storage; local government; team leading and management.
